I was recently asked to write a piece for a wonderful online magazine called Not Exactly a Magazine.
At first, I honestly didn't know what to write about. The guidelines were generic: a short story, a poem, a biographical piece, anything you basically feel like writing.
Then, I realized it was my chance to finally put into words what drove me into creating a business that has the word "love" in it.
So I started typing. No judgment. No blocks.
(Also, I was recovering from a sickness, so I really coudn't afford to spend time second-guessing).
I wrote and sent. And forgot about it.
Until I saw it published.
My story was the cover story.
