Vienna - Live - Autobiographical writing
A guided writing space for turning memories, turning points and lived experience into crafted personal narratives.
Designed for participants who want to explore their own stories through structure, reflection and creative practice — with no previous writing experience required.
The 3 disciplines
01 SCREENWRITING
Structure, character arcs, scenes, visual storytelling and dialogue for film and television. Participants learn how to turn an idea into a compelling narrative designed to be seen.
Film · TV
02 PLAYWRITING
Dramatic action, character, dialogue and voice for live performance. Particularly suited to actors and performers who want to create original material of their own.
Theatre · Solo work · Monologues
03 · Autobiographical writing
A thoughtful framework for transforming memories, identity and personal turning points into meaningful narratives while respecting the emotional truth of the writer.
Memoir · Personal narrative · Life stories
THE MISSION
Storytelling with Love exists to create rooms where people feel safe enough
to experiment, confident enough to use their own voice, and supported enough to
keep going when the work becomes difficult.
The goal is not only to teach structure, character, dialogue or scene work. It is to help people leave
the room with stronger storytelling skills, tangible pages and a more confident relationship
with their own creative voice.

Core pillars & impact areas
Diversity & inclusion
Story-based exercises invite participants to explore perspective, identity and lived experience while making room for voices that are often underrepresented.
Women’s voices & empowerment
Writing becomes a practical way to articulate experiences, ambitions and identity — particularly in environments where women benefit from supportive spaces for self-expression.
Intercultural dialogue
In international groups, personal and fictional storytelling helps participants listen, exchange perspectives and build connection beyond professional or cultural labels.
Skills & creative confidence
Participants do not only discuss storytelling. They write, test ideas, receive guidance and leave with practical tools and material they can continue developing.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Everything started in the spring of 2023 when I decided to create a space where aspiring writers could have the chance to learn the basics of storytelling and put their stories into paper.
I felt the urge to share everything that I'd learnt from UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting and my Master's Degree in Cinema, Television and Multimedia Productions. I wondered how many stories remain untold simply because people don't know how to write them. That's what pushed me to found Storytelling With Love: to give my tools to the people who need them.
Since then, every year I bring something new to the table - fueled by what I learn from my writers and new inspirations. On this page, you’ll find the core focus of my workshops and their history from 2023 to today.

Hey, Storyteller! I'm lisa.
I’m Lisa Camilla La Colla — Creative Writing Coach, writer, actress and workshop facilitator based in Vienna.
My academic and professional training spans storytelling, cinema, performance and screenwriting, including the University of Bologna and UCLA’s Professional Screenwriting Program. My work focuses on translating storytelling theory into accessible, participatory experiences for people with different levels of writing experience.
I’m especially interested in projects where storytelling intersects with women’s voices, intercultural dialogue, inclusion, personal narrative and creative empowerment.
