1:1 Creative Writing Strategy · 90 minutes on Zoom
Bring one writing challenge. Leave with focused feedback, clearer decisions and practical next steps for your story.
The problem isn’t a lack of information
Writing advice is everywhere. So are templates, podcasts, craft books, AI answers and other people’s opinions.
But when it’s your story, generic advice only gets you so far. At some point you need someone who can listen to the actual problem, ask the right question, and help you make a decision.
Meet your new writing coach
I’m a Creative Writing Coach, writer and actress, trained in screenwriting, playwriting and storytelling across UCLA, La Sorbonne, CUNY and a Master’s in Cinema & Television.
I’ve second-guessed characters, scenes, ideas and entire projects too. Which is exactly why our call isn’t about giving you a motivational speech and sending you back to the same confusion.
We use the 90 minutes to get specific. We identify the real block, make choices, test solutions, and turn the conversation into a next-step plan you can actually follow.
How it works
Your story idea, your synopsis, your failed writing schedule, your boring main character — anything that’s actually stopping you from getting your writing done.
There’s nothing I love more than doing extensive problem-solving on a SWL-branded PDF, which you’ll (of course) get.
This is the most fun part: you’ll actually wonder why you waited so long. You tell me what’s going on, I share my insights and analysis, and I give you my best professional advice on the matter. You get your inspiration back.
After the call, I’ll send you my PDF presentation and your personalized Action Plan, so you know exactly what to do next. If you want a recording, you can record the session yourself and save it directly on your own computer, with our prior agreement. I do not record or send session recordings.
Everything we can strategize about
The Power Call is your own safe space: here are some examples of issues previous writers have brought to the table.
What you can send before our call
Of course! In your pre-call questionnaire, you’ll have the chance to submit any materials you think are relevant to our session.
Here’s a list of everything you can upload:
You can upload up to 30 pages (Times New Roman, 12 pt, or Final Draft) from your novel, script, TV series, or play.
You can freely upload pitches, TV series bibles, notes, loglines, ideas, and outlines.
You can definitely upload the first chapter of your novel, the trickiest scene in your script, or a passage you need help with.
You can upload the schedule you’re trying to follow, your process, or the steps you’re currently working through.
You can upload notes, pictures, images, character questionnaires, and any relevant information about your character(s).
⚠️ Important
The absolute limit is 30 pages in total, across all the materials you submit. If you’d like feedback on a complete work as part of a second-draft rewrite, the right path for you is the Re-Write Workshop.

This is for you if…
After you click Book Your Call
Click the button and pick a time that works for you. You’ll immediately be asked to pay for the session. After that — you’re IN!
BOOK MY CALLAfter you’ve scheduled and paid for your session, I’ll send you via email a link to a confirmation page where you’ll be asked to fill out the Pre-Call Questionnaire. This is your chance to give me any details about your story, your process, and the issues you want to work on, so I can prepare as thoroughly as possible.
Once you’ve sent me the Questionnaire, all you need to do is show up for our session on the day you picked. I’ll take care of the rest. Your only job is to enjoy it and be ready for an extra dose of inspiration.
A few useful answers
Absolutely. You can submit up to 30 pages in total before our call, and we can use them as part of the problem we work through together. That could be a chapter, a scene, an excerpt, or other relevant material. If you’re looking for feedback on a complete work as part of a second-draft rewrite, the Re-Write Workshop is the right path for you.
You can request a new appointment by emailing lisa@storytellingwithlove.com at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. We will agree a replacement time with you. Your statutory withdrawal and refund rights remain unaffected.
No problem. Email lisa@storytellingwithlove.com or reply to your receipt email and we’ll find a time that works for both of us.
Absolutely. You do not need a finished draft—or even a finished idea. We can use the call to find your starting point, choose a direction and build your first practical steps.
If you want a recording, you can record your Power Call yourself and save it directly on your own computer, with our prior agreement. Sessions are not recorded by default, and I do not create, store or send recordings. I will send you your PDF Session Presentation and personalized post-call Action Plan.
Send it to lisa@storytellingwithlove.com. You’ll receive a reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
